Monday, January 12, 2026 I 4:00pm PST / 6:00pm CST
If you’ve been curious about psychedelic-assisted therapy—what it really is, how it works, and whether it may be a meaningful part of your healing path—this workshop will help you understand the broader landscape with clarity and intention.
Who is this workshop for?
You’re curious about psychedelics and don’t know where to begin...
You’ve heard conflicting information and want grounded, clear guidance...
You’re doing inner work and wonder if psychedelics could deepen it...
You’ve journeyed before and want more context or support...
You want information from a psychedelic licensed, trauma-informed clinician—not the internet...
You want to build "community" in the psychedelic space...
You don’t need prior psychedelic experience. Just curiosity and openness.
What We'll Explore Together...
Over our time together, we’ll explore:
Matching Psychedelic Pathways to Intentions
A clear, accessible overview of different psychedelic approaches — and how people choose pathways that align with their nervous systems, goals, and readiness.
Safety Basics for Every Explorer
The essential foundations: nervous system preparation, mindset, environment, and what responsible, ethical psychedelic support actually requires.
Microdosing vs. Macrodosing: Clearing the Myths
What each approach is (and isn’t), common misconceptions, and how people use them differently for healing, clarity, and inner work.
The Heart of the Work: Preparation & Integration
Why the “before” and “after” of a journey matter as much as the experience itself — and how people translate insights into real, embodied change.
What a Licensed, Trauma-Informed Guide Really Does
A look behind the scenes at the role of a skilled facilitator — attunement, pacing, safety, and why proper guidance shapes the entire experience.
What to Expect Before, During, and After a Journey
A grounded walkthrough of the full arc of psychedelic-assisted therapy so you can understand the terrain long before you ever step into it.
Your Real Questions, Answered
Live Q&A time to bring your curiosity, confusion, wonder, and worries — and get honest, clinically sound answers in a safe, judgment-free space.
Why Who You Learn From Matters

Presented by Kate Schroeder,
Founder & Psychedelic Guide at Transformation Counseling, LLC.
I’m Kate Schroeder, LPC, LMHC, NCC — a trauma-informed psychotherapist, Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator in Oregon and
Colorado, and one of the first clinicians bringing licensed, ethical, and clinically grounded psychedelic-assisted therapy to the Midwest. Saint Louis was my home for 32 years and remains the home base of my
clinical practice, even as I work with individuals from all over the
country. My work centers on adults healing from childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and long-standing emotional patterns that talk therapy alone hasn’t been able to fully reach.

Psychedelic-assisted therapy is not a trend to me—it’s a serious,
powerful modality that requires preparation, safety, integration, and a
trauma-trained guide who understands the deeper layers of the
human psyche. And as curiosity grows across the country, many
people—especially here in St. Louis—are left wondering: What’s real? What’s safe? Where do I even begin? This workshop is my way of answering those questions with clarity, compassion, and clinical
integrity, while also creating community around this transformative work.
The Midwest deserves accurate information, thoughtful guidance, and
a facilitator who can bridge science, soul, and safety. Whether you’re
joining from St. Louis or elsewhere, you’re welcome here. I’m truly
honored to offer this space.
Your Questions Answered
Psychedelic-assisted therapy is a big, complex topic — and it’s normal to have questions before signing up for something like this. Here are a few clarifications to help you feel grounded, safe, and clear before joining us. If you’re wondering something that isn’t covered here, bring it to the live Q&A.
Will this be recorded?
No. To protect privacy and create a safe, grounded atmosphere, this workshop will not be recorded. You’ll get the most from attending live.
Is this therapy or a psychedelic dosing session?
No. This workshop is purely educational and orientation-based. It is not psychotherapy, medical advice, or a place to obtain or use substances.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
Not at all. You’re welcome to keep your camera off if you prefer. Many people attend anonymously, and you’ll still be able to learn, listen, and submit questions.
Is this appropriate if I’ve never used psychedelics before?
Absolutely. This workshop is ideal for beginners, the curious, the cautious, and anyone wanting grounded, non-hype information about psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Will you talk about how to find a guide?
Yes. I’ll cover what a trauma-informed, licensed facilitator actually does, what ethical support looks like, and how to identify both green flags and red flags in psychedelic spaces.
Can I ask personal questions about my situation?
Yes—within boundaries. I’ll answer as many questions as I can in a general, educational way without offering individualized medical or therapeutic advice.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The workshop is completely free—the only thing it costs is your time and attention.
