Psychotherapy & Counseling

"Where the soul remembers, the body exhales."

My Approach: Healing Begins Within

I believe that healing is not about fixing what is broken—because people are not broken—but about reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that had to go underground in order to survive. Beneath every symptom is a story, and beneath every story is a self that longs to be seen, heard, and held.

Mental illness does not arise in a vacuum. Depression, anxiety, and other forms of psychological suffering often emerge as the mind and body’s best attempts to adapt to overwhelming stress, unmet needs, and unresolved trauma. These are not character flaws or chemical malfunctions—they are signals. They point to places where something once hurt too much to feel, or where a vital part of us had to be silenced to stay safe.

Trauma is not just what happened to us. It’s what happened inside us as a result. And while insight and awareness are important, they alone are rarely enough. We cannot think our way out of pain that was encoded through sensation, emotion, and relationship.

That’s why my approach to counseling is both trauma-informed and deeply experiential. I work from the belief that healing must happen not just through understanding—but through direct, embodied experience. Therapy is a space to feel what couldn’t be felt then, to complete what couldn’t be completed, and to reclaim the parts of ourselves that were exiled in the name of survival.

Whether I’m working with psychedelic-assisted therapy, somatic modalities, or depth-oriented Gestalt therapy, my aim is to help clients come home to themselves—not just cognitively, but viscerally. Because the body remembers. And so does the soul.

When we create the conditions for safety, curiosity, and connection, profound change becomes possible. Not the surface kind. But the kind that shifts your nervous system. The kind that rewrites the story your body tells the world. The kind that lasts. The kind of change that allows you to finally come home to the you that you were designed to be.
