Join Transformation Counseling
Exceptional therapists deserve an exceptional practice.

Transformation Counseling is intentionally small, relationship-centered, and values-driven. We are not building a high-volume therapy practice. We are building a professional home for therapists who genuinely love psychotherapy and want the freedom to practice thoughtfully, deeply, and sustainably.

If your ideal therapy sessions involve curiosity more than checklists, relationships more than productivity metrics, and transformation more than symptom management, we may be a good fit.
Our Philosophy
At Transformation Counseling, we believe psychotherapy is meaningful work.
We value:

-
Compassion
-
Clinical excellence
-
Integrity
-
Curiosity
-
Humility
-
Trauma-informed care
-
Deep therapeutic relationships
-
Lifelong learning
We believe healing happens through relationship, thoughtful clinical formulation, and the courage to stay present with complexity. We intentionally prioritize quality over quantity, depth over speed, and long-term professional satisfaction over burnout.
Who Thrives Here
You may be an excellent fit if you:
-
Hold independent licensure, or be actively working toward independent licensure, in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, or Missouri. Exceptional candidates who are nearing independent licensure may be considered.
-
Love psychotherapy—not simply having a therapy job.
-
Enjoy working with trauma, relationships, attachment, and meaningful personal growth.
-
Appreciate both autonomy and collaboration.
-
Value consultation and continued learning.
-
Care deeply about creating safe, attuned therapeutic relationships.
-
Want to build a sustainable private practice without sacrificing your integrity.
-
Are curious about the emerging field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and are interested in learning alongside experienced clinicians (no prior experience required).
What You'll Receive
We strive to remove administrative burden so you can focus on clinical work.
Depending on your role, you'll receive support with:

-
Referrals
-
Scheduling
-
Billing
-
Marketing
-
Administrative support
-
Consultation and mentorship
-
Clinical supervision (where appropriate)
-
Opportunities for teaching, program development, and future leadership
A Different Kind of Practice
Many practices promise flexibility.
We believe flexibility should coexist with accountability, thoughtful clinical work, and mutual respect.
Our goal isn't simply to fill schedules. It's to build a community of exceptional therapists who enjoy coming to work, continue growing professionally, and care deeply about their clients.
The Future
As the practice grows, we're continuing to expand into areas including:
-
Trauma-focused psychotherapy
-
Psychedelic preparation and integration
-
Oregon and Colorado psilocybin services
-
Professional consultation
-
Clinical supervision
-
Education and training
-
Program development
Clinicians who enjoy building alongside a growing practice may have opportunities to contribute beyond traditional conventional therapy if that aligns with their interests.
Current Opportunities
We're currently interested in hearing from independently licensed therapists in:
-
Oregon
-
Washington
-
Colorado
-
Missouri

Independent licensure is strongly preferred. In exceptional circumstances, candidates with associate or provisional licensure may be considered if they demonstrate outstanding clinical maturity, strong alignment with the practice's values, and a commitment to obtaining independent licensure. Additional state licenses are always welcomed.

A Final Thought...
We recognize there are many excellent therapy practices.
We're simply looking for clinicians who believe that psychotherapy is still an art as much as a science, who value genuine human connection, and who want to build something meaningful over the long term.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to start a conversation.
