Honoring Our Stuck Places: Making Room for All Parts of Ourselves
Saturday, November 4, 2017
Join us in this full day therapy workshop, as we take a look at what gets in the way of us living deeply satisfying lives. Together, we will discuss the needs meeting/satisfaction cycle in human relationships, both relationships with our self and with others. We will also explore the ways we interrupt or interfere with our own needs satisfaction, as an unconscious extension of our childhood coping mechanisms. We will also introduce and therapeutically work with ways we can unblock stuck places in order to enjoy more satisfying lives.

Ongoing Workshops:
For more information about ongoing workshops and classes, please see additional pages under "Workshops & Classes" tab on website.
Past Workshops & Classes:
Introduction to Visual Journaling: Using Images to Go Deeper Than Words with Clients Words interpret our feelings, images reveal them. Imagery is our body-mind-spirit connection's primary means of communication. And feelings always communicate information if we are willing to listen. Emotions repressed from the past remain stored away in our bodies, and can cause physical symptoms of varying severity, including physical pain, illness, weight concerns, depression, anxiety, panic or intense reactions towards our loved ones. Come and learn the theory and practice behind the importance of moving beyond thoughts and words into feelings and intuitive knowledge in your work with clients. No artistic ability required!
Sexual Orientation & Our Spirit: Recovering Our Soul Self This is an experiential retreat opportunity to explore personal and spiritual soul wounding as a result of identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning or living an “alternative” lifestyle or relationship. Living a LGBTQ or non-traditional lifestyle in a culture that is strongly heterosexual and condemns a person’s identity is difficult at best. When family disapproval and alienation are added to that, it can be devastating. Relationships suffer, energy reserved for pursuing life, being creative, thriving in careers and having families of one’s own is affected, often stymied. Coping behaviors to keep this “secret” can become paramount, resulting in many feeling as if they are living with a “black hole” inside, into which all kinds of things are thrown in an effort to fill the hole. Even though many have come to terms on a cognitive level with their “non-traditional” orientation to the world, subconsciously there are still hidden messages and “programs” about what is “ok” in this world. Join us in a day of self-discovery as we explore how these experiences have profoundly impacted our lives causing us to live out of a false sense of self, and what we need to do to recover our soul self.
3 Keys to Self-Understanding: An Innovative Combination of the MBTI, Enneagram and Affective Inner Child Healing Processes Come and join us in a journey of self-discovery as we explore how our life experiences have shaped us into the people that we are today. Workshop participants will receive an overview of the 3Keys Model for deep emotional affective healing, and a working understanding of the MBTI and Enneagram personality systems, including the roles of these two typing systems in the development of both the core self and defense systems. The retreat will include experiential exercises, group process and discussion to move participants through their own process of self-discovery and explore how this wisdom can heal emotional and spiritual wounding, and how you can use this wisdom to guide you back to your soul self.
3Keys to Self-Understanding: Inner Experiential Workshop for Deep Emotional Change- Therapeutic Workshop The workshop will be fully experiential (no lecture or theory)- come prepared for two days of very intensive, deep emotional work. The Three Keys approach directly tackles the underlying emotional and bodily roots of issues such as depression, addiction, lack of intimacy, and feelings of loneliness and inadequacy. It is best suited to people who have done some personal work already and are seeking a fundamental shift in their development. During the workshop, Kate will guide participants through a variety of experiential exercises using guided imagery, body work, artwork and music, designed to connect you with your core self, discover unresolved family issues, reconnect with your feelings, identify unmet needs and show you how to move forward. You will experience how very effective this work is in removing deeply-rooted barriers to a healthier, happier and more purposeful life. In other words, you know the one thing you always wanted to handle? The behavior you cannot seem to change, the relationship stuff you keep repeating, the work problem you keep encountering...? Bring it. Deal with it. Move on.

3Keys to Self-Understanding Therapeutic Group August 15, 2014-May 15, 2015

What: This is an ongoing therapeutic group for those individuals who are interested in starting or continuing their deep emotional healing therapy based upon the 3Keys to Self-Understanding therapy model.
Who is eligible to participate? Any woman who has first completed an orientation to the 3Keys model and has had MBTI & Enneagram type verified by a 3Keys certified practitioner.
Why: Many individuals are seeking deep emotional healing and recovery from disruptive or destructive patterns that limit them in some way in their lives. They may not be able to afford individual therapy or prefer to heal in the group setting. Although 1:1 therapy is recommended to begin this process of deep emotional healing and bring about the most expedient fundamental change in one’s life, this group will provide an opportunity to begin the process of recovering from unhealthy or destructive coping techniques and patterns in their lives in a group setting.
When: Weekly meetings on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30am, starting August 15, 2014 and running through May 15, 2015. All participants must participate in an initial screening process to be completed prior to the start date of group, which includes individual meetings with therapist to prepare for group participation. Number of individual sessions will be determined on a case by case basis. All meetings will be held in the therapist’s office located in Webster Groves, MO.
Cost: Costs for participation in this group are $45 per group therapy session, per participant. Participants will be asked to contract for the full 9 months, and will be offered several payment options to choose from. Participants will be required to pay therapist’s standard hourly rates for their individual screening sessions.
Potential participants will be required to undergo an individual screening process with therapist prior to the 9 month therapeutic group to determine therapeutic fit for both the group and the participant. Participants will be chosen based upon compatibility of needs to the purpose of the group, as well as individuals whose well-being will not be endangered by the group experience. Referrals will be made for those participants not appropriate for the 3Keys therapy group. For more information or questions about scheduling concerns and availability to participate, please contact Kate at:
