On Becoming A Parent

Do you ever wonder if you really have what it takes to be a good parent? Most people do have what it takes to be a good parent, but in many cases, it is hidden away deep inside.
Most people parent in one of two ways: exactly how they were parented as a child, believing that there is no other way to reach parenting success than how they were raised, or in the completely opposite way saying something along the lines of "I will never do that to my child". In either case, a parent is doing what they vowed they would never do to their child, that is limit them in any way. In those cases where parents insist that their children conform to their values, likes, dislikes or world view, it is incredibly detrimental to the child's own emotional development and emerging sense of self.
Attend this workshop to learn more about your core parenting personality and innate preference patterns as a parent; your defense system and how you cope with parenting stress in your life; and how these two parts affect your parenting and what you can do about it to ensure that you most present to your child and their emotional needs. Whether anticipating a new baby, expanding your family or a veteran parent of many years, come learn how to tap into these hidden gifts so that you can become the parent you've always wanted to be for your child.
